Metastatic Bone Cancer:
- most common primary bone cancer is multiple myeloma
- secondary metastases are common from the following primaries (a weird way to remember them is that they almost all start with B): Breast, Brostate (prostate), Bronchus, Byroid (thyroid), Bidney (kidney) & Bowel
- investigations: bloods (may have increased calcium due to increased bone turnover), X-rays (bones have circular dark/decreased density looking lesions), CT all areas to find primary
- N.B. 66% of secondary bone cancers are due to breast or prostate primarys
